I’m on a break – I have to admit, I still haven’t finished the proofreading book, mainly because during the last 4 weeks or so I was too busy working on a book proposal, which required a lot of background reading. So I haven’t really done much reading.
Now this is more or less finished and soon on its way to the publisher – so fingers crossed he will find it interesting enough to commission the book.
I have also started a short fiction writing course with the Open University, which will keep me busy for the next 12 weeks. So there will be less reading and more writing, which is good practice for me.
I have to look at my long list of books waiting on my shelf and decide what I want to read next. I might go for Nick Davies’ “Flat Earth News”, which is really essential reading for every journalist.
