Rescue hens are looking for a good home

If you have read on of my earlier posts about chicken, then you know that I think that they make good pets. I found the following on the journalism forum I go to and I hope that maybe some readers out there have a heart and a home (with enough space) for a couple of hens. I would adopt some if I could, but our garden is too small.

“10,000 hens need rehoming from a battery farm in Norfolk, which is
closing-down. If you would like a hen or two or know someone who would
please contact:
littlehenrescue@googlemail.com. Any not rehomed by 28 June will be slaughtered.”
